What do I get when I subscribe to The English Magazine?

You get free access to the whole web site. This includes the current issue of The English Magazine and all the back issues to 2001.

Each issue has ten articles (five for reading and five related articles for listening).

In addition, you can make use of the Language Practice zone, which contains interactive exercises and reference material on English grammar and vocabulary.

How many issues of the magazine are there every year?

There is a new issue every two months, so there are six issues every year.

A personal subscription gives the subscriber permission to access the whole website. In addition, the subscriber may print a copy of any article or other material for personal use only.

A full institutional subscription allows all teachers and all students to use the English Magazine website from any computer, either at the institution or at home. The website can be used in a computer lab in the school, either for self-study purposes or with teacher guidance. Teachers may freely print and photocopy any material for use in class.

An individual teacher subscription allows one teacher and students in one class to use the English Magazine website from any computer, either at the school or at home. How much does it cost to subscribe?

Personal subscription rates are as follows:

three months	15 euros
six months	20 euros
twelve months	30 euros

Institutional and teacher subscription rates for 12 months are as follows:

Full institutional subscription	220 euros
Class subscription for 3-5 classes	175 euros
Class subscription for 1-2 classes	125 euros
Individual teacher subscription	75 euros

How can I subscribe and how do I pay?

Simply go to the subscribe page and choose the kind of subscription that you want. Then you can make a secure credit card payment through Paypal.

When will I receive my user name and password?

You should receive an email with your user name and password within 24 hours after making your payment. If you have not received your login details within this time, please contact us giving details of your Paypal receipt.

What Kind of articles can I read?

You can read articles on a wide variety of topics, including: adventure, lifestyle, entertainment, science and technology, health, business, history, social issues, psychology, literature, crime, nature and the environment.

Reading articles on different topics is a great way to learn new vocabulary.

How can The English Magazine help me improve my English?

The articles are written at three levels of difficulty. In this way you can learn to read fluently and with confidence at the level that is best for you. You can change level at any time. While you are reading you can quickly check the meaning of difficult words and expressions by clicking on any word in the text.

You can also practise listening comprehension with The English Magazine. The listening texts are also at three levels of difficulty.

In the Language Practice Zone you will find grammar and vocabulary exercises.
